Esoteric Update #89 - Take Off It

This week I was struggling through a very complicated set of grammatical constructions that control some aspects of clothing descriptions. In fact, a lot of different bits of narration can be derived from it.

And let me tell you, it was hard to get some of this working properly, in particular with how phrasal verbs interact with some of this. There were also some different aspects of English grammar that I had to deal with, for the first time, with these constructions (like having to handle words that can be the singular or plural form), but none of it was quite as nasty as the verbs.

In any case, let's see some of this in action.

And this might not seem like much yet, because there's little in terms of variation so far. Only a few general structures are handling the output. Most of what I did there is dedicated to handling variables, making this text capable of adjusting to different subjects and objects (undress yourself, undress someone, get undressed, watch someone undress) but also all sorts of different clothing and the sometimes quite specific requirements for the words that can be used when describing taking them off.

As a more minor thing, I've also written messages/narration for when you cannot take something off or put something on. But there's nothing that impressive there.
